I think, if I had secret to success for Leaders,
it would be, quite simply:
Be clear with under performers: support their learning, establish clear goals and declare the consequences of under delivering or unkept promises.
Open lines of communication.
Listen. Be curious. Activate.
I Worry:
I'm afraid I might not say the right thing. I'm afraid I've waiting too long. I might not have taken notes or correctly documented coaching.
...I don't want to regret my business decisions.
Yet, if we do not address the issue quickly, more negativity, less productivity will impact business, our reputation and so much more.

First let's understand the current situation: let's review the facts, the notes, the strategies to support and the employee's responses.
Does the employee know that their role is in jeopardy?
Let's take time to pause. Then if necessary, let's engage key partners and activate an action plan. This could move quickly to an exit conversation or if we need to allow time, then let's create a plan, an opportunity to demonstrate improvement.
Strategize and activate. There's no more time to waste.
